Emergency Mode

(Glossary)

HGDefinition.jpg

The radio's Emergency Mode alerts dispatchers and other radio users that an emergency situation exists with the radio's user. An Emergency transmission is radio-user initiated with an DotRed.png Emergency button-press, or a press of a footswitch (See Emergency Power Up), or even without direct radio-user interaction with the emergency alarm Man Down feature. The Emergency Type field(s) setting determines if an emergency transmission will be an "Alarm Only", "Call Only", or an "Alarm & Call". Emergency mode is possible for both Conventional or Trunking communications.
